Globe Café

There are two Globe Cafés run by Friends International each week for international students and scholars attending the University of Birmingham. The Cafés serve free coffee, tea, cold drinks and biscuits/cakes. The Cafés are organised and run by teams of volunteers from several local churches who give their time gladly to provide a place for international students of all nations, religions and races to relax, practise their English and make friends.

Globe Café

There is a different programme each week (e.g. a cultural or musical theme, or a fun activity, or a food evening) and also the opportunity to hear about other activities organised for international students.

The Campus Globe Café meets on Monday evenings 8:00-10:00pm at Priorsfield on Edgbaston Park Road (building G18 on the campus map).

The Selly Oak Globe Café meets on Monday evenings 8:00-10:00pm at St Wulstan’s Church, Alton Road (opposite the Tesco mini supermarket and petrol station on the Bristol Road).
