WhoWhatWhy? was a week of events organised to help students explore the most important questions of life.
Student Carols
The Carol Concert is the biggest single event that the Christian Union holds each year. At our last Carol Concert in December 2009, over 1000 people packed the Great Hall to sing Christmas carols and hear the Christmas story.
The Carol Concert for the 2009/10 academic year was held on Thursday 3 December 2009 at 8pm in the Great Hall.
Aftersun
Aftersun is a time to catch up with friends after the summer, refocus on the aims of the CU and to get onboard with Freshers welcome plans. Please note this is an event for returning students.
Aftersun for the 2009/10 academic year was on Monday 21 September 2009 at Elim Church Centre.
Engage: CU Welcome
Engage is our main Freshers Event. It is a day for people interested to find out why we exist as a Christian Union and what we do. It is also a great opportunity to meet existing members of the CU and other Christian Freshers.
Engage for the 2009/10 academic year was on Thursday 24 September 2009 at Elim Church Centre.
Church search
We hope every student who is a part of the CU will find and join a local church while they are at university. To help Freshers find a church to settle in, we organise a church search during the first month of the autumn term. Find out more about the church search in the Freshers’ section of the website.

Houseparty
Houseparty is potentially the best weekend of the CU year! Everyone in the CU is welcome to join us in the countryside of Shropshire for a weekend of teaching, worship, prayer, discussion groups, free time and lots of fun! It is a great chance to chill out and get to know people, have a laugh, as well as receive great teaching and worship God.
Houseparty for the 2009/10 academic year was on 20-22 November 2009.
